PRO-CINEMA
Because “big audio” has a sound quality all its own.
Some of my audio projects have involved small speakers. But big efficient drivers, and the big cabinets which hold them always capture the attention of audio purists, live artists, film buffs. Understandably -- large loudspeakers have significant advantages in acoustical physics that no DSP, micro-driver or advanced amp can overcome.
Of course to be fully appreciated, big speakers beg for large rooms -- music studios, movie screening rooms and other high-end sound venues with 20, 50, even 100 or more seats. You may have noticed, big spaces set up with theater surround sound are fairly common these days.
While larger spaces really demand large pro/consumer speakers, the latest surround sound technology such as Dolby Atmos’™ pushes that button too. A new “height” channel, greater dynamics, and far more surround channels makes more and better speakers a must. It’s simply the best way to build a convincing theater, large.
Given the years some of us have been around high-end speakers, we know most of the suppliers still on the American audio scene. Fewer in number today, but some of the best USA driver and crossover shops are still around, often busier than ever.
For proof, look over the DM Pro-Cinema’s American-made fine textured black epoxy cabinets, ABS port flares, pro-grade drivers and crossovers. These high-performance USA made pro-cinema speaker are coming in seven sizes and types suited for any larger home theater or music studio.
Assembled and tested in small batches, DM’s Pro-Cinema Speakers are for sound pros and anyone who values life-time technical support as much as the high-end performance. If high-fidelity, high-power audio is central to your business or home life check out our Pro-Cinema Speaker Series, Summer 2019
